"Launches" → "Auto-rules" → "New rule": accounts (up to 20, one currency — one rule per account), "Apply to" (campaigns, ad sets or ads), optionally "Campaign name contains", up to 5 conditions, an action and a schedule. There are 9 templates to start from (stop-loss, expensive registration, scale on deposits and more).
Who checks the rule
You don't choose — AdFleet decides from the conditions and shows a badge.
- "Meta" — Facebook can count every condition itself: spend, results, cost per result, CPC, CPM, CTR, impressions, clicks, frequency, installs and their cost. The rule is created inside Facebook (tagged
[af<number>]in Ads Manager) and runs there even if AdFleet is down. A custom schedule follows the account's time zone. - "AdFleet" — the conditions use pixel registrations or deposits, registration or deposit CPA, or the "2 closed days" period. AdFleet evaluates such a rule on the same numbers as Stats, in the team's time zone.
An edit that would change who checks the rule won't save — create a new rule. An AdFleet rule can't mix pixel conditions with results, cost per result or frequency. Rules don't read tracker conversions yet.
Actions and schedule
- "Pause", "Turn on", "Change budget" (/help/auto-rules-budget) or "Notify only".
- "How often to check": "every 30 minutes", "once a day" or "on a schedule" (weekdays and hours).
- "Data period": today, yesterday, 3/7/14/30 days, lifetime (Meta only), "2 closed days" (AdFleet only).
- Money in conditions is in the account's currency. With zero conversions, CPA counts as spend ÷ 1.
Every role except Viewer creates and edits rules. If the author of an AdFleet rule loses access to the account, the rule switches itself off.
