When email sending is set up in AdFleet, a new account's email has to be confirmed. That goes for accounts made by signing up, by a request through a /join/… link and by a team invite. An invite doesn't confirm the email: the team's owner hands its link over themselves, AdFleet doesn't email it.
Confirming
- Right after the account is created, an email "Confirm your email for AdFleet" arrives.
- Open the link from it → "Confirm email". Opening the link alone confirms nothing — the button does.
- Done.
The button works right away only if this browser is logged in to that same account. In another browser (your mail app's, say) AdFleet asks for the "Account password": the right password confirms the email, every session of the account ends, and you'll see "Email confirmed. Log in to continue." — confirming never logs anyone in by itself.
Got the email but never created the account? Don't confirm — "Didn't create this account, or don't remember the password?" → "Reset the password": the link comes to your email, the stranger's password and all their sessions stop working, and the email gets confirmed.
The link works once, for 24 hours. A new link cancels the earlier one. It confirms only the address it was sent to.
Until the email is confirmed
- You can log in, but team sections, the plan and billing lead to "Confirm your email": no trial, no payment, no launches.
- No requests to join a team. A request through a
/join/…link brings you back to the team's page once confirmed — send it again. On "No team yet" the request form is replaced by a "Confirm your email" block. - "Account data and deletion" stays open: wrong address — delete the account and sign up again.
No email?
- Check your spam folder.
- "Confirm your email" → "Send the link again". Up to 3 emails an hour per account, up to 5 resends per 15 minutes from one IP.
- A password reset through the emailed link (/help/forgot-password) confirms the email too: the message went to that same address.
