The queue, Facebook's limits and launch statuses

"Launch" puts the launch in a queue; a background worker then runs launches in order, oldest first. You can close the page right away.

Facebook's limits

Every Facebook answer says how loaded the app's and the account's limits are. AdFleet reads that and slows down by itself:

  • from 75% — short pauses (8–15 seconds) before each write;
  • from 90% — waits as long as Facebook says it needs to recover (2 hours at most), then carries on.

In the launch journal that's a "Facebook limits" line: "Facebook asks to slow down, continuing in N min — not an error, the launch goes on by itself". Pauses that stop spend are never slowed.

A user token also has a profile pace: at least 2.5 minutes between ad creates and no more than 4 ads per 30 minutes.

Statuses

  • Launch: "queued", "running", "done", "partial" (some ads already run), "failed" (nothing was created), "canceling", "canceled", "stop not confirmed".
  • Account: "success", "failed", "needs review" — Facebook's answer was ambiguous, check the object in Ads Manager.
  • "Done" only when every account succeeded or was canceled.

Retry and cancel

  • "Retry" reconciles with Facebook and resumes where it stopped, without recreating what exists. Only failed accounts run again, with the money you confirmed at launch. Retry is available for 7 days after the stop — then "Launch again".
  • "Cancel" pauses the campaigns the launch already created. If Facebook didn't confirm every pause, the status is "stop not confirmed": hit "Retry the stop", or stop them in Ads Manager and hit "I stopped them by hand".
