Team and roles

Roles

  • Owner — everything, including the plan, billing and the team's time zone.
  • Head — the same minus plan and billing; can't grant the Owner role.
  • Team lead — launches, edits presets and creatives, connects own tokens, deletes objects in Stats; sees their own accounts and their buyers'.
  • Buyer — launches, edits presets and creatives, connects own tokens; sees only accounts assigned to them; can't delete objects in Stats.
  • Tech — the technical setup: tokens, BMs, proxies, Pages/pixels, account assignment, Keitaro/Binom; sees every account but doesn't launch or touch spend, people or billing — /help/tech-role.
  • Viewer — looks; doesn't change the team or accounts; can connect their own token.

Managing the team is for the Owner and Head; assigning accounts and setting an account's Page/pixel — for the Owner, Head and Tech. The Owner role is only granted at team registration; the last Owner can't be demoted and an Owner can't be removed.

Who sees what in the tracker and launches

  • Tracker, "Clicks", "Conversions", "Report": every role can open them. Owner, Head, Tech and Viewer see the whole team's data; a Team lead sees their own accounts and their buyers'; a Buyer only the accounts assigned to them.
  • Links, flows, "Networks" and "Postbacks": created and edited by the Owner, Head and Team lead. A Buyer, Tech and Viewer only look (they have no "Networks" or "Postbacks" tabs).
  • Tracker "Domains" and "Settings": everyone sees them, the Owner and Head change them.
  • Launching, presets, creatives: Owner, Head, Team lead and Buyer. Tech and Viewer don't launch.
  • Any role connects their own token. Other people's tokens, BMs, profile proxies and account reassignment: Owner, Head and Tech. Keitaro/Binom connections: Owner, Head and Tech.
  • Team and invitations: Owner and Head. Plan and billing: Owner.

How to split the roles

  1. You are the Owner. Give your deputy Head: they run the team but don't change the plan or billing.
  2. One Team lead per group of buyers: they see the group's accounts and tracker numbers and edit the links.
  3. Buyers get Buyer. Assign each their accounts: "Ad accounts" → tick next to the member in the account's row (the Owner, Head and Tech can do this). A buyer with no accounts assigned sees empty reports.
  4. Whoever sets up tokens, proxies and pixels gets Tech: they don't touch ad money or people.
  5. A partner, accountant or client gets Viewer: they read reports and change nothing. To check what they see, use /help/view-as.

Adding a person is under "Inviting" below. To split the report by buyer, give each person a short "My name" (letters, digits, _ . -, no spaces, up to 40 characters — "Account" for the buyer themselves or "Team" for the Owner and Head) and add &sub6={{actor}} to the preset's link or URL tags: the buyer's name fills in by itself. Group the report by Sub6.

Accounts and limits

  • Assign with a tick next to the member in the account's row, or in bulk (add, replace, clear) under "Ad accounts".
  • Accounts from a Buyer's or Team lead's token are assigned to them automatically.
  • A member's "Daily budget limit": launches and budget raises can't push their daily total past it.
  • The "Team timezone" is set by the Owner — "Today", Stats and AdFleet auto-rules follow it.

Removing a member

"Team" → "Remove" in the member's row → a confirmation on its own page. Access to the team ends at once; a removal can't be undone.

  • Hand the member's ad accounts to another Buyer or Team lead — or to nobody, which unassigns them. The Owner, Head, Tech and Viewer see every account anyway.
  • Removing a Team lead: their buyers move to another Team lead — or stay without one.
  • The Owner can't be removed.
  • AdFleet auto-rules this member created switch off at their next check: their author no longer has access to the accounts.
  • Invite them again and the accounts won't come back on their own — assign them again under "Ad accounts".

Inviting

"Team" → "Invite" → email and role. The link is valid for 7 days. AdFleet doesn't email the invite: copy the link and send it yourself. The address already has an account — /help/no-team.

Another way into a team is a request through a link, approved by the Owner or Head: /help/access-requests.

See AdFleet as a member — /help/view-as.
