Live traffic runs only through your own domain. "Tracker" → "Domains" → "Add domain". The Owner and Head connect them, up to 20 domains per team.
DNS records
Once added, the domain is "Waiting for DNS", and the screen shows two required records with a "Copy" button:
- "Traffic route" — a CNAME from your domain to the address shown on screen (e.g.
cname.adfleet.app); - "Ownership proof" — a TXT
_adfleet-verify.<your domain>with the valueadfleet-verify=<code>.
Prefer a subdomain (go.example.com): many DNS panels don't allow a CNAME at the root (CNAME flattening helps if your DNS has it). An IP, a * domain and adfleet.app domains can't be added.
Verification
- Create the records and press "Check" (when certificates are issued automatically via Cloudflare, the status updates by itself). DNS changes can take up to an hour.
- "Active" — links on the domain open over HTTPS. Only an active domain takes clicks and can be picked for new links.
- "Failed" — the screen says why: the CNAME isn't visible yet, the TXT isn't visible, DNS didn't answer.
Removing
"Remove domain" — links on it are archived and stop opening. They don't move to the shared domain.
The shared test domain
Marked "Test/demo only": try a link without connecting a domain. Don't run ads on it — one complaint about anyone can get it blocked for every team.
