Keitaro and Binom: connecting and pushing spend

"Management" → "Trackers" — Owner, Head and Tech only. Up to 5 trackers per team.

Connect

"Connect a tracker":

  • "Tracker" — Keitaro or Binom; "Name (optional)".
  • "Tracker address" — a domain or IP, https only in production (the key travels with the spend). Internal addresses are refused.
  • "API key" — stored encrypted; afterwards only the last 4 characters are visible.
  • "Which id is in the label" — the ad's, ad set's or campaign's (ad by default) and "Label number (1–30)": in Keitaro, the sub_id number in the Facebook source that holds the macro; in Binom, the token number in the campaign.
  • "Tracker currency", "Automatic push" (manual, every 15 / 30 minutes, hourly, every 2 / 4 hours, or nightly for yesterday) and, for Keitaro, "Group send".

"Test connection" lists the tracker's active campaigns.

How spend is sent

  • Each object's spend for the day is set in the tracker as a value — the tracker overwrites the amount rather than adding, so a repeat is safe.
  • Spend lands on clicks whose chosen label holds the object's Meta id. Amounts are converted from the account's currency to the tracker's; with no rate, the whole push doesn't go. The day follows the ad account's time zone.
  • "Rules: where spend goes" — account and "Campaign name contains" → tracker campaigns (up to 20). The first matching rule wins. No rules at all — spend goes to every active campaign; rules exist but none matches — the object isn't sent ("no rule").
  • The automatic push sends today, and yesterday once after 00:40. Unchanged objects are skipped.
  • "Push spend now" → "Push now" — any day up to 60 days back, resent in full; at most 6 times per 5 minutes.
  • "Push log" — the last 15 pushes, kept for 90 days.

After two automatic failures in a row, the Owner and Head get a notification, plus another once it recovers. Conversions back into AdFleet — /help/tracker-conversions.
