Why tracker and Meta numbers differ

A small gap between Meta and the tracker is normal: they count different things at different times.

Time zones

  • Stats and "Today" in AdFleet follow the team's time zone; Ads Manager — the account's; Keitaro and Binom — their own.
  • AdFleet pushes spend to Keitaro/Binom by the account's day, and reads conversions back by the team's day.

Attribution

  • The Meta pixel credits a conversion to an ad by Meta's attribution window, view-through included, and to the impression day.
  • The tracker credits a conversion to a click — by the click ID the network sent back — and to the event day; a click older than the tracker's attribution window doesn't count.

Clicks

Meta "link clicks" are taps; tracker clicks are real arrivals. Some people leave before the page loads, and bots are flagged by the tracker and left out of reports.

Statuses and delays

  • Tracker revenue is approved only; hold is shown separately, rejected isn't counted.
  • Facebook backfills conversions — AdFleet re-reads the last 7 days once a day. Keitaro/Binom conversions are re-read for the last 1–7 days (the "Re-read" setting); older days — with "Refresh now".
  • Networks send postbacks late, sometimes days later.

Currency

Stats rows are in the account's currency, totals in USD at the daily rate; tracker revenue is converted from the tracker's currency too.

"Tracker" columns show "—" with a country or placement breakdown — the tracker doesn't know how Meta splits spend across those slices.
